Your work directly impacts voter trust, legal compliance, and the success of field programs across Arizona. When quality is consistent, our teams can better mobilize voters, maintain regulatory compliance, and strengthen our long-term organizing power. 

Position Overview

The Quality Control (QC) Specialist ensures accuracy, compliance, and consistency in all voter registration forms, canvassing outputs, and related program documentation. This role works closely with field teams, data staff, and program managers to identify errors, strengthen processes, and ensure that submissions meet state legal standards and organizational expectations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, solution-focused, and comfortable working with both paper and digital data systems. No formal degree is required—strong judgment, accuracy, and accountability are most important.

Core Responsibilities
Quality Review & Compliance
  • Review voter registration forms, canvasser reports, and related documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with state requirements.
     

  • Identify discrepancies or missing information and communicate necessary corrections to field teams.
     

  • Ensure documentation is properly prepared for data entry and legal submission.
     

Data Integrity & Reporting
  • Maintain organized, accurate logs of all QC activity.
     

  • Analyze data to identify error patterns, training needs, or procedural issues.
     

  • Prepare regular QC summaries or reports for management.
     

Process Improvement & Support
  • Collaborate with field teams to address quality concerns and support corrective action.
     

  • Recommend improvements to systems, workflows, and training materials to reduce errors and increase efficiency.
     

  • Participate in meetings to align on quality expectations and changes in state or organizational requirements.
     

Team Collaboration
  • Communicate with field staff, leads, and data teams in a respectful, supportive, and solutions-oriented manner.
     

  • Help foster a culture of quality, accountability, and compliance across the organization.
     

  • Provide feedback that improves overall program integrity and voter trust.
     

Qualifications

We welcome applicants with diverse experiences—including customer service, administrative support, field work, or data entry backgrounds. A college degree is not required.

Required
  • Ability to maintain accuracy while reviewing large volumes of materials.
     

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors or inconsistencies.
     

  • Basic proficiency with digital tools such as Google Workspace, Excel/Sheets, and email platforms.
     

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
     

  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
     

  • Comfort working independently and collaboratively.
     

  • Reliable organizational and time-management skills.
     

Preferred, Not Required
  • Experience with data entry, quality assurance, or compliance work.
     

  • Familiarity with voter registration processes, data systems, or field reporting tools.
     

  • Experience supporting fast-paced, mission-driven work environments.
