About Role:
The ideal candidate will have held leadership roles in the past two election cycles, managed staff directly on voter registration or issue campaigns, and developed and implemented strategic plans. Superior project management skills are a must to ensure that strategies and tactics adapt and change with the dynamics of the 2024 election cycle. This position reports directly to the Field Director.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

​Campaign Path Development: Collaborate with the Field Director and on-the-ground teams to develop and execute the client campaign path to victory. Define specific voter registration goals and benchmarks to guide program activities effectively.

Client Feedback and Support: Provide valuable feedback to the Field Director for assigned clients to help them run top-notch programs in the field. Serve as a secondary point of contact and resource for designated clients and their teams through regular check-ins.

Strategic Planning and Execution: Draft and implement a monthly, weekly, and daily plan to execute site-based voter registration. Evaluate and adapt voter registration strategy and operations throughout the program to maximize impact.

Team Management: Support, supervise, coach, and train all staff involved in voter registration efforts. Ensure team members have the necessary skills and resources to execute their roles effectively.

Event Coordination and Representation: Staff and attend events throughout the state to represent the organization and support voter registration efforts.

Data Management: Ensure that all data and results are tracked accurately within our internal systems. Use data insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement in voter registration efforts.

Field Support: Travel across the state to support canvass Regional Deputy Directors, Team Leads, and canvassers in executing goals and metrics. Provide on-the-ground assistance and guidance as needed.

Human Resources Collaboration: Partner with human resources for all hiring needs, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding of voter registration staff. Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Required:
-
Have 2-5 years (or 2-3 cycles) of management experience in field voter registration campaigns.

Experience with overseeing the Voter Registration team’s work and ensuring the work remains on track.

Ability to work well within a team and independently.

Robust technology and analytics skills, including extensive experience with VAN databases and Google/Excel Sheets, and utilizing BLOCKS software.

Metrics-driven approach to planning, evaluating, and reporting.

Clear comprehension of quality control systems.

Experience with daily data entering and tracking.
-
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Strong cultural competency and emotional intelligence as well as strong interpersonal communication skills that create positive relationships with members, staff, partners, and clients and the ability to build relationships and collaborate with colleagues, voters, and volunteers who identify as POC and across lines of difference.

Experience working cross-functionally with HR and Ops teams.

Access to a vehicle, laptop, internet, and mobile phone.

This role requires you to stand and walk for long periods of time in both indoor and outdoor settings including a variety of weather conditions (rainy, snow, hot and/or cold).

Must be able to travel at least 20% of the time for work (reliable transportation required)
Preferred, but not required, you will also:

Bilingual (Fluent in Spanish).

College degree preferred.
